Our history

Where dreams and relaxation become reality

Our dream is a place in the mountains – far away from everyday life, away from the hustle and bustle and stress. Nestled in a breath-taking natural landscape, our lovely village lies at an altitude of 640m. Here, tradition and style combine with a generous helping of Tyrolean hospitality.

House Sylvia is located right in the heart of „Europe's most beautiful floral village“ and is surrounded by a breathtaking mountain panorama. Leave everyday life behind you!

Haus Sylvia has been run for over 50 years in the second generation by Anna and Johannes as a lovingly designed retreat for guests from all over the world.

Location

Reith im Alpbachtal - The most beautiful flower village in Europe

Nestled between the Kitzbühel Alps and the Rofan Mountains lies the family-friendly village of Reith im Alpbachtal. Whether in spring, in summer and autumn, or in winter.

The Alpbachtal is perfect for walkers, mountain bikers, climbers and the physically active. Numerous little walking trails on the mountain and in the valley, several bathing lakes and 25 official mountain bike routes are waiting to be discovered.

In winter, you can let off steam on 109 kilometres of pistes in the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau. Haus Sylvia is located just a few minutes' walk from the centre.
